We had a signal (we have AT&T with Cricket). Most of the camping area is grassy and mostly level. Note: the coast guard ran some helicopters overhead a few times a day almost daily during our stay but it wasn't obnoxious. Sure there were a few generators running here and there but overall a nice quiet place. In addition there are hiking trails which our dog Josie loved.Įveryone here was so nice, the hosts, fellow campers. Plus access to the Blackwater River which is amazing for kayaking/canoeing. There are nice & clean bathrooms and showers (camp host clean them daily). This place is free (for now, let's hope it stays this way).
